The Iron Eye is a mix of two things. The Iron Cross, which is a war medal for heroics, and the Eye of Ra which is the egyptian sun god.
My client whose entire family has been in the military as far back as WW1 decided to mix the two largest things in his life together. The cross and his chosen path of faith.
